It was with a certain level of uncertainty that I opened a two day shop on Abbeydale road for the most romantic day of the year, and it is with great relief that I can say it was FANTASTIC! Pop up shops are super trendy in London where you can have guerilla bars, one week fine dining and currently there is that crazy boat soaring high above the Southbank www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16525794.
In the spirit of fun, romance and longing to see my lovely customers faces again, I opened a pop up shop in collaboration with "Buca General Store" and the gorgeous Tim who generously allowed me to flower up his shop for two days. I made a capsule collection of bouquets in the studio, very early on the monday morning and filled Tims shop with them all, hoping that there were some spontaneous, stylish romantics lurking. Thanks to the low overheads I was able to create some gorgeous bouquets at prices I was unable to offer when I had a "conventional" shop and my pop up shoppers were very pleased with the armful of flowers they left with. It is now safe to say I am pop up pooped, but can not wait for my cutey tuk tuk to arrive from india (its currently on the boat) to whizz around sheffield and beyond with bouquets. so, please follow our Twitter and Facebook to find out where we will pop up next,. We already have a venue in mind for mothers day, but if you have any suggestions of where you would like to see us, maybe you own a boat on a roof? please get in touch. Oh Sheffield you know we are way cooler than London!
As per, I forgot to take photos till the 11th hour when we had sold most of the collection, however I think they give you a flavour of what we were up to and shows what was left when we had finished... nothing :)
Thank you Tim Lindley from Bragazzis, and Buca General Store you style guru you! please check out his new shop open next week.
