Planning your wedding and fancy having something a little different, a conversation piece........here are a few ideas that may add something a little different to your day.

Something a little bit different.......

As your wedding day draws near you maybe striving for that added element that gives your day an added touch, a special difference or a converation piece.  The three images represent how you can add a certain uniqueness to your wedding day perhaps using flowers in an unusual way to make your day extra special.

Image one;  A statement arrangement.

Whether it be a fabulous urn that are often seen in the grounds of stately homes like the one featured in this picture or an unusual vase, bird cage, vintage tins or bell jars: containers and flowers can often work together to create a fabulous statement piece.  Often unusual containers can be picked up at antique stores, junk yards or car boot sales and if you bring them into us at Orchis we can design and create a fabulous arrangement that complements the container you have chosen.

Image two   Working with your surroundings.

Often one of the hardest and first things is choosing your wedding venue and often period properties are chosen for their period features that may stylishly reflect the past or what the building was once used for.  Why not accentuate thses surroundings and make a feature of them they not only bring your wedding together beatifully by using the same flowers as perhaps your bouquet or table decorations but also make for beautiful back drops for photographs and even create beautiful images themselves.
